Creating spaces for
reconciliation and dialogue
A youth-led initiative connecting Ukraine, Russia, and European countries
Our approach
“Youth for Peace” is an international initiative focused on bringing young people together to organise events, share experiences and educate each other. Through self-organised practices we aim to prepare the ground for sustainable peace after the end of the war and to create more safe spaces for dialogue and reconciliation.
Our work brings together young people from Ukraine, Russia, Germany and across Europe who are interested in peace and practices which heal, build trust, foster social and civic initiatives that can turn the formal peace into real one.

What we do
Interviews, stories and lectures

We collect and share stories about what people and their closed ones experienced during wartime.
We learn from and with others what reconciliation and peaceful co-existence is.
Education and social research

We research and share knowledge about cultures and practices that open pathways to healthy social forces. We ask what are the foundations of a culture of nonviolence and how to bring them to affected by conflict societies.
Camps, meetings, seminars

Our meeting places offer young people the opportunity to see the human being and individual in one another again.
Participants from different countries come together to share their daily lives, care for the place, and create projects together.
